By using casamar.se you accept these terms. They are written in plain language, not legalese.
What casamar.se is
Casamar is a platform that shows and brokers information about Spanish new-build developments to Nordic buyers. It is a service operated by Equinode AB in cooperation with one or more Spanish brokers who handle actual purchase processes.
We are not ourselves an estate agent in Spain. Our broker on the ground is registered there and is responsible for Spanish brokerage services under Spanish law.
What you can do
You can browse all projects, save units, compare them, book calls with our broker and reserve a unit through the payment platform. You don't need to create an account to browse. You need email verification (magic link) to reserve a unit.
Reservation and deposit
Reservation is made through the platform against a deposit of €6,000. The amount is fully refundable for 14 days under Spanish consumer law (Real Decreto 1/2007). After 14 days the deposit is transferred to the developer's escrow account as part of the first payment.
The reservation is not a binding final contract. The final contract is signed at a Spanish notary at the time of your deed (escritura pública).
Price and costs
Casamar is free to use for you as a buyer. Our revenue model is a brokerage fee paid by the developer or broker, not by you.
You pay the standard Swedish and Spanish taxes, notary costs, and any lawyer of your own. Our team in Sweden will help you understand the cost picture before you sign anything.
What you may not do
You may not use the platform for fraud, identity theft or illegal activity. You may not try to bypass technical protections, scrape data automatically, or otherwise misuse the service.
Our liability
We do our best to keep information about projects current and correct. Final responsibility for specifications and delivery times rests with the developer. We are not liable for losses arising from developer delay, bankruptcy or specification changes — these are handled under Spanish purchase law.
Disputes
Disputes between you and Casamar (Equinode AB) are tried in Swedish courts under Swedish law. Disputes about the property purchase itself are tried in Spanish courts under Spanish law.
Changes
We may change these terms. We'll publish changes here. If the change is material we'll be in touch by email.
